Dr Hanka Fahey 🇮🇪

Hanka originally hails from Germany but we Irish are claiming her as she left for here soon after she graduated from Berlin University, and married an Irish man.

After tragically losing her best friend to cancer, Hanka has dedicated her life to ALL forms of health restoration, not just allopathic medicine. Today, she is a certified veterinary practitioner of homeopathy, phototherapy including mushrooms (for both animals and humans) and nutritionist for small animals.

Dr Anneke Verweij 🇳🇱

Anneke is a brilliant, natural vet from the Netherlands. Practising since 2004, Anneke is one of the most qualified natural vets we have ever had the luck to meet. She holds certificates in advanced veterinary medicine, acupuncture, vaccicheck and neuroacupuncture, as well as veterinary natural nutrition as well as integrative therapeutic nutrition.

"I started working as a conventional veterinarian, but after a few years I noticed that I got stuck with some patients. I kept feeling I was missing something, that there had to be something more...I now have a different way of looking at the body, diseases and healing."

Aneke English and Duch offers a variety of cost-effective consults. You can book her here.

She also has a cool free e-booklet here.

Dr. Adele Fitzpatrick 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Like most natural vets, Adele's clinic blends conventional vet care with a holistic approach to disease avoidance. Her approach, combining nutritional education with herbal medicine, acupuncture, and laser therapy, saw it voted Scotland's Best Veterinary Practice in 2020.

"We provide an open, honest, friendly and compassionate service and treat each pet as if it were our own. We believe in listening to our clients and forming a relationship of trust and cooperation."

Adele has a number of vets on hand that you can chat to but if you'd like to Zoom with the boss herself, you can do that to

Dr. Amaya Espíndola 🇪🇸

Got a cat issue?! Amaya, aka Felvet, aka el Presidente of the Raw Feeding Veterinary Society, is one of my favourite vets on the planet. A powerhouse of enthusiasm and all round loveliness, Amaya is a natural talent (be it with cats or a microphone!).

"True connection involves empathy, caring for others and ourselves...it's crucial that we set aside our egos, embrace our wild side, make informed decisions, and establish genuine connections with ourselves and our surroundings...cats, living in harmony with the cycles of nature, suffer when removed from their natural environment. Yet, they remain our greatest teachers, finding joy even in the most unnatural home settings."

Speaks fluent English (and obviously Spanish!).

You can grab a chat with Amaya here.

Dr. Kasia Chudy 🇮🇲

Hailing from the Isle of Mann, Kasia is an integrative veterinarian who strives to provide the best possible care for your pet by "filling up the gaps". Dr Aida Galvez 🇪🇸

Aida is a popular natural vet from Spain with some very unique strings to her bow. She specialises in psychoneuroimmunology (PNI, I also had to Google...), orthmolecular medicine (maintaining health through nutritional supplementation) and lifestyle / nutritional medicine.

PNI examines the relationship of the mind to the patient’s neurological, endocrine and immune systems. For example, the impact of mental stress on wound healing and infection rates. It holds that improving the patient’s emotional and mental health boosts physiological parameters, improving health, recovery and surgery outcomes.

Dr. Roger Meacock 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Roger calls himself the "last hope" vet because, like every other natural vets learned in such dark arts as nutrition, herbs, homeopathy and in Rogers case, bioresonance,  these are the vets you all turn to when the normal conventional approach of drugs first, fails.

Only by thinking outside the box is it possible to achieve results once thought impossible with inside the box thinking.

Roger is a phenomenal vet whose work focuses mainly on energy, frequency and vibration. This is a new frontier for many but in reality, it is the oldest. Check out his site for case studies and to get in touch.

Dr Martynas Jermolajevas 🇱🇹

Martynas is a Lithuanian vet who specialises in nutrition.

"I have developed a clinical, individualised nutrition method to help pets deal with problems where the standard raw diets don't work or only work partially...this helps me work with difficult conditions like cancer, diabetes, very aggressive allergies and gastrointestinal problems...I use medicines only when the symptoms can't be controlled without them".

Martynas offers a variety of consults, many of which come with a lot of aftercare, as he tailors nutrition according to your dog's symptoms, but you can get a 30-minute nutritional consult with Martynas here for just $80.

Dr Edward Bassingthwaighte 🇦🇺

Just two years after qualifying as a vet in 1995, Ed was lucky enough to train with Dr. Tom Ahern, a legendary equine vet with a special knack for treating painful misalignments in the vertebrae of horses.

Thus began a fascination with healing touch and neuro-fascial bodywork, unlocking tension and relieving pain in the neck and back of pets.

Better still, using a variety of conventional diagnostics, treatments and holistic care, Ed can work with you and your dog online.

It’s our mission to empower pet owners and animal lovers to access and apply their own innate intuitive and empathic abilities to help their pets heal. We’re here to demystify the energetic nature of the body and help you build a deeper connection with your pets.

You can book a FREE 15mins with Ed here, just to see if you're the right fit!

Dr. Banu Kantarcıoğlu 🇹🇷

Banu is an incredible natural vet from Istanbul. Incredibly, Banu began out with a doctorate in Veterinary Microbiology before her head was turned by homoeopathy ten years later. With a myriad of qualifications in the subject, Banu now also specialises in a variety of other natural practices including herbs, aromatherapy and animal zoo pharmacognosy.

We aim to provide  comprehensive treatment for your pet, to heal not only the externally visible symptoms but the whole patient...We use gentle methods that allow the body to heal itself, and use chemical drugs of daily modern medicine as a secondary option or complement. We recommend feeding raw or homemade foods that strengthen the immune system.

Banu speaks Turkish and fluent English. Please reach out to Banu here directly before booking an appointment.

Dr. Josie Beug 🇺🇸

A very popular vet, Josie is about as natural as they come. After earning a Bachelor's degree in biology, neurobiology, and cognitive ethology, she worked in the trenches of the animal welfare field for 8 years before she discovered that veterinarians were using needles and herbs to heal animals!

Now Josie uses holistic healthcare as her primary mode of healthcare, deploying herbalism and wild-crafting her own natural medicines.

When she isn't collecting rocks, Josie specialises in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), as well as the healing branches of Taoism and Tibetan Buddhism. Josis also studies and practices reiki, T-Touch, Bodytalk and stone medicine.

You can get in touch with Josie here.

Dr. Natalie Acosta Torres 🇨🇴

Natalie is a vet dedicated to nutrition in small species. Her company, Raw Bites Nutrition, was created to help thousands of pet owners radically improve their pets life.

"Feeding is one of the only activities our animals perform every day and directly influences their long-term health...Better health and quality of life for animals begins with nutrition designed according to their biology and needs

Dr Veneta Kozhuharova 🇧🇬

Veneta graduated with a Master’s Degree in veterinary, from University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2008. A number of years in public health gave her extensive knowledge of food safety. In 2011 she began practicing in the UK and soon obtained a Level 4 Certificate in Canine and Feline Health Nutrition and later Acute Canine Herbalism.

When Veneta isn't formulating diets for commercial companies, she runs Diets for Dogs, an online canine nutrition consultation service to help dog owners feed their pets better diets.

While we don't recommend them, Veneta can help you with vegetarian diets. If people are thinking about it, you really need to consult with a vet first, and Veneta understands this area more than most.
